Exotac FireRod Replacement Rod Survival Gear

REPLACEMENT

To replace an Exotac ferro rod, simply unscrew the rod from the Exotac handle and screw in the new rod.  Ensure the rod is a snug fit into the rod holder.  An optional drop of blue or purple Loctite will help retain the rod if it becomes loose.  

EXTRA LONG LENGTH

• The fireROD™ XL refill kit provides a 3.1″ long threaded replacement rod and two extra o-rings. This length is useful for larger knife sheaths.
